Number of Syrian refugees in Lebanon exceeds 1,100,000 -UNHCR

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) issued on Monday its weekly report on the number of Syrian refugees in Lebanon.

More than 9,900 refugees were registered within a week, the report said, adding that the total number of Syrian refugees receiving aid from the UNHCR and its partners, has reached more than 1,100,000.

The number of registered refugees is 1,047,898 and that of those awaiting registration is 52,588, which brings the total number of refugees to 1,100,486.
