Hobeich and Jarrah say their piece on the tico tac conundrum

Future bloc MPs Hadi Hobeich and Jamal Al Jarrah revealed a few “realities” regarding the Lebanese Investment Group the tico tac, in response to “misleading information” of the Free Patriotic Movement.

During a press conference, Hobeich said that the latest decision taken by the Audit Bureau against employees who used to work under Siniora’s mandate is based on false calculations that do not prove that public funds were squandered.

Jarrah said that former PM Fouad Siniora established a committee to review all documents related to customs to reveal the reality, adding that the Head of the Change and Reform bloc MP Michel Aoun is not one to talk about money squandering.

Jarrah announced that he will open the issue of electricity, telecommunications and services “so that the public opinion would be aware which party is keen on public funds”.
