PSP leader MP Jumblatt: Dispute over the presidential bid is linked to regional developments
Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblatt said on Monday that the dispute over the presidential bid has become linked to regional developments.

Jumblatt's comments were made in his weekly editorial in al-Anbaa website whereby he urged the Lebanese officials to deal with the people's daily issues before turning their attention to the elections.”

Jumblatt also demanded that “radical and bold” measures be adopted in the electricity dossier “that is costing the treasury billions of dollars in losses every year."

The PSP leader also suggested imposing fines on maritime property violations, calling on syndicates to demand a pay scale that would take into consideration Lebanon's economy.

In addition, the MP demanded that officials put an end to corruption and adopt measures that will address the water crisis in Lebanon.
