Former MP Ghattas Khoury stated on Sunday that calm will not be maintained in Lebanon if deputies did not elect a president, pointing out that the Future Movement is exerting its efforts to reach common grounds regarding the presidential elections.
Khoury told LBCI’s Nharkom Said that former Prime Minister Saad Hariri made it clear in his latest statement that the country’s current situation will not lead to the election of a president, adding that the work of security forces is more effective than any other party since they are working in a legitimate manner.
