Aley residents voice solidarity with Lebanese army upon the call of PSP

Residents and official figures of Aley gathered on Thursday in the town’s souk in a show of solidarity and loyalty to the Lebanese Armed Forces, upon the call of the Progressive Socialist Party.

The PSP’s media spokesman Rami Rayes, the leader of the Lebanese Leftist Movement Munir Barakat, Aley’s Mayor Wajdi Mrad, as well as several political and civil society officials participated in the event.

During the gathering, the citizens raised the Lebanese flags, while officials delivered speeches supporting the Lebanese army.
