Oumama to LBCI: We are awaiting Jabhat al-Nusra's demands for soldiers release

Adnan Oumama, a member of the Association of Muslim Scholars, said on Thursday that the association is awaiting the receipt of Jabhat al-Nusra's demands pertaining to the release of soldiers who were kidnapped in Arsal.

"The association welcomes any party able to provide help in ongoing negotiations," Oumama said in a phone call with LBCI's Nharkom Said TV show.

"The government is not flexible in dealing with this file," he said, noting that the safety of the kidnapped is guaranteed.

"Jabhat al-Nusra confirms its battle is inside Syria," Oumama added.
