PSP spokesman to LBCI: Lebanese factions should end presidential deadlock
Progressive Socialist Party media spokesman Ramy Al-Rayess stated on Saturday that Lebanese factions should agree on a presidential candidate in order to end the current deadlock.

Rayess told LBCI’s Nharkom Said that the new president should represent the entire Lebanese nation, stressing that the Shiite-Shiite understanding helped House Speaker Nabih Berri remain as the head of the legislative power for various consecutive sessions.

He also noted that his party has a presidential candidate, stressing that democracy grants people the right to participate in the rotation of power.

“Lebanese factions do not have the right to disrupt work of constitutional institutions,” Rayyes said.
