Massive fire breaks out in Tair Falsieh, South Lebanon

A massive fire broke out in the outskirts of the town of Tair Falsieh in the al-Qaraa region south of Lebanon, burning swathes of olive groves, the state-run National News Agency reported on Thursday.

Civil defense units are working on extinguishing the flames.

Rise in temperatures bring fears over what is left of the country's forests. Forest fires have become an expected threat that come with the summer.
