Muslim Scholars impose conditions to resume negotiations in case of abducted military men
A mediator involved in the case of the abducted members of the Lebanese Armed Forces and Internal Security Forces in Arsal, declared Tuesday that the Association of Muslim Scholars will not resume its mediation in the negotiations conducted to release the military personnel, until it is officially appointed by the cabinet and receives approval to engage in a prisoner swap deal.

In a statement to LBCI, the mediator revealed that the association addressed Prime Minister Salam; saying that Washington had swapped a US soldier with 5 Taliban leaders, while Israel exchanged Gilad Shalit with hundreds of prisoners.
