Wahhab says all Lebanese people may have to take up arms

Arab Tawhid Party leader Wiam Wahhab said on Monday that the country is going through the most dangerous phase since the Lebanese civil war.

"Lebanon is facing today an existential threat that targets all its citizens without any exception," Wahhab said, calling for a strategy to protect the country and its army.

"All the Lebanese people may be compelled to take up arms alongside the LAF," he said, adding that the new threat against the whole region is beyond all sects and religions.
