Lebanese army receives U.S. military aid via Beirut Airport

The Lebanese Armed Forces received on Saturday weapons and ammunition from the United States, the state-run National News Agency reported.

The army's Logistics Brigade received the U.S. aid via the Beirut International Airport in the presence of Lebanese officers and a delegation from the U.S. aid office in Lebanon.

The shipment was part of the U.S. military aid to the Lebanese troops and came in accordance with bilateral agreements signed between the two countries.
