Police arrests drug lord, two accomplices in Choueifat

An Internal Security Forces statement said on Friday that the police arrested a drug lord and two other men wanted on drug related charges in the region of Choueifat.

The statement added that the arrests were made on September 22 in the house of a 35-year-old drug lord identified by his initials A.A.

The ISF noted that 1.6 kilograms of hashish and 8 grams of heroin were seized during the raid.

The detainees confessed to drug trafficking during interrogations and were referred to the concerned judicial authorities.
