Aoun: We will urge citizens who pay electricity bills to protest
Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun said that all the ministers who successively led the Ministry of Energy confirmed that there was a real electricity crisis in Lebanon. He added that his bloc’s ministers came to repair and restore what has been ruined, “but some parties are trying to hamper this process and spark riots”.

Following his bloc’s weekly meeting in Rabiyeh, Aoun said that he will call on all the Lebanese citizens who are paying their electricity bills to protest peacefully to urge the Lebanese state and officials to be tougher in this regard.

Aoun said that he will not accept to hand over any ministry led by his bloc in 2013 without visible improvements improvements.
