Mufti Daryan urges Lebanese people to hold onto their country

"Our religion today is in crisis due to widespread divisions and the rise of radical groups," Lebanon's Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdel Latif Daryan said on Friday on the occasion of the Islamic New Year.

"Muslims today are fighting and killing each other," the mufti said, calling on the Lebanese people to hold onto their country and its constitutional institutions.
