A Lebanese Armed Forces adjutant was hit by gunfire on Thursday morning in the northeastern border town of Arsal.
In the details, at 5:30 in the morning, when LAF Adjutant Ahmad Awdeh left his home in Arsal to head to work, he was intercepted in the town’s square by unknown assailants riding a red motorcycle, who opened fire at him.
Awdeh was injured in the back and was immediately transferred to al-Rayyan Hospital in Baalbek for treatment.
