Palestinian security committee meets with MP Bahia Hariri, says Ahmad al-Assir is abroad

MP Bahia Hariri met on Saturday in Majdelyoun with the Supreme Security Committee overseeing the situation in refugee camps, and discussed the security situation at Ain al-Helweh Palestinian refugee camp.

During the meeting, the committee's officials stressed that fugitives Ahmad al-Assir and Chady al-Mawlawi have not entered Ain al-Helweh camp, noting that al-Assir is not currently in Lebanon.

In this regard, the delegation said that Ain al-Helweh camp will not pose a threat to Sidon's security.
