Meeting of parliamentary committee postponed until beginning of new year – MP Ghanem
Deputy Robert Ghanem stated on Wednesday that the meeting of the parliamentary committee tasked with examining the electoral law has been postponed until after the holidays, seemingly since dialogue between the Future Movement and Hezbollah will be held between the holidays of Christmas and the New Year.

In this regard, MP Ghanem noted that the said dialogue session will pave the way for the election of a new president and the ratification of a new electoral law.

Following a meeting with House Speaker Nabih Berri in Ain El-Tineh, MP Ghanem noted that Speaker Berri is still holding talks with Lebanese factions in a bid to broker an electoral law that serves all Lebanese citizens.
