Ministers of Health Wael Abou Faour and of Environment Mohammad al-Mashnouq revealed Wednesday that several lawsuits have been filed against hospitals that have violated the procedures required in the process of waste disposal, adding that these lawsuits have been referred to the concerned judiciary in order to take the necessary measures.
During a joint meeting, the ministers noted that private and governmental hospitals keep committing violations in this regard, stressing that strong measures will be taken against these institutions in case they fail to improve their conditions.
