LAF patrol detains Syrian suspect in Qob Elias

A Lebanese Armed Forces patrol arrested Syrian national Moussa Obeid al-Khodor on suspicion of belonging to a terrorist organization, the army announced in a statement on Friday.

Khodor was detained late on Thursday in the Zahle region of Qob Elias, the statement said.

The LAF patrol also raided the suspect’s residence on the outskirts of the Amiq town and seized hand grenades, weapons and light ammunition, in addition to various military assets.

The communiqué added that Khodor was referred to the concerned authorities for further investigation.
