Entrance of daycare building collapses in Beirut’s Hadath
The state-run National news Agency reported on Tuesday that the entrance of a daycare building in Hadath in Beirut's southern suburbs collapsed due to digging work in a construction site adjoining it.

The agency added that Civil Defense teams evacuated the horrified children and employees from the three-story building located near the Philippines embassy.

The entrance of the daycare and the road leading to it entirely collapsed due to the digging works.

Work at the construction site was also suspended.

Only material damage was reported.

The concerned authorities are inspecting the building to prevent its potential collapse.
