MP Kanaan says national interest requires wisdom, patience

Change and Reform bloc MP Ibrahim Kanaan said Lebanon’s national interest requires, at the time being, a lot of patience and wisdom in dealing with predicaments facing the country.

“I hope the dialogue sessions that are being held would lead to common grounds,” MP Kanaan said on Tuesday following the bloc’s weekly meeting.

He also stressed the need to develop a joint vision amongst the country’s parties, calling for a Christian-Islamic rapprochement.
