Minister Hassan Khalil: Lebanon could lose projects with World Bank due to absence of legislation

Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil stressed Friday that the country's political crises are becoming more complicated, adding that "the political rhetoric has escalated to the point of threat against the state and its institutions."

In this context, Minister Khalil reiterated his concern over the possibility of Lebanon losing several projects with the World Bank due to the absence of legislation.

In a press conference held to launch the program aimed at promoting management of real estate affairs, Hassan Khalil noted that the Finance Ministry looks forward to partnering with the private sector concerning matters related to real estate.
