Islamic Spiritual Summit voices concern over recriminations among officials

The Islamic Spiritual Summit, which convened Tuesday in Dar al-Fatwa, voiced concerns over recriminations among officials, saying “it could widen the gap between the Lebanese”.

The summit’s closing statement urged Muslims to hold onto their rights and remain united despite differences, noting that "Muslims are prohibited from killing their brothers".

The summit also denounced terrorism as a form of extremism, bemoaning assaults against Christians in the Orient.
