Follow-up committee of displaced persons stages sit-in in Taalabaya
The follow-up committee for the affairs of Palestinians and Syrian refugees in the Bekaa region staged on Friday a sit-in outside the headquarters of The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in Taalabaya.
 
The protesters demanded the organization to refrain from its decision to reduce financial aid "which will reflect negatively on the Palestinian people who are already enduring difficult conditions."
