Minister Abou Faour refers doctors to prosecution over fake documentation

The state-run National News Agency reported on Tuesday that Minister of Health Wael Abou Faour referred to the General Prosecution four doctors for issuing fake medical reports needed for the issuance of drivers’ licenses.

The agency added that the doctors were issuing the reports without performing the needed medical examination of the applicants.

They were identified as Joseph H., Fadi H., Hassan H., and Ahmed M.

The fake documents were submitted at al-Dekwaneh and Ouzai Vehicle Registration departments.

No further details were provided.
