Kidnappers of Chtaura’s Al-Mawarid Bank CEO demand a 500 thousand USD ransom

The kidnappers of citizen Mohamed Abou Jekh, head of Chtaura’s Al-Mawarid Bank, demanded on Wednesday a 500 thousand USD ransom in exchange for his release.

Abou Jekh, was kidnapped on Monday (July 13) at gunpoint by unknown assailants in Western Bekaa’s Jeb Jennine town.

Security forces launched a manhunt to find the assailants who, on board a black Chevrolet Blazer vehicle, took the abductee to an unknown destination.
