At least one thousand young boys and girls from Tripoli’s Bab al-Tebbaneh, Jabal Mohsen, al-Kobbeh and al-Baddawi participated Sunday in a marathon held across the city’s streets.
The race started from Syria Street, passing through Talaat al-Chamal to Jabal Mohsen, then through Talaat al-Omari to the region of Starco in al-Tebbaneh.
The marathon aims at rejecting strife and extremism and promoting coexistence and peace.
