“We Want Accountability” activists call for declaring emergency plan to remove waste from streets
“We Want Accountability” activists called Thursday for the declaration of an emergency plan to remove the garbage from the streets, by collecting and sorting the waste and issuing decrees to implement the plan, stressing the need start sending funds to the municipalities.
 
In a press conference held outside the Environment Ministry, the activists urged the people to take part in the rally, organized by “You Stink” campaign to be staged later today.
 
In the statement, the activists said that “this corrupt system is directly threatening the people’s social and economic security,” noting that the waste crisis is being handled by the officials in accordance with their financial and electoral interests.
