Future Movement says will not accept any injustice to be done to Akkar
The Future Movement said on Saturday that it will not accept any injustice to be done to the district of Akkar regarding the suggested solutions to the waste management crisis.

The movement also noted that finding solutions for the crisis should be a “common national duty” among all Lebanese people.

The movement urged the government to turn the suggested Srar landfill into a sanitary and environmental landfill to be used only for Akkar’s waste.

Lebanon has been suffering from a waste management crisis since July with the shutting down of the Naameh landfill.

Lebanese leaders have so far failed to find an alternative to the landfill, resulting in the accumulation of garbage on the streets.
