Public institutions to close on November 23 for Independence Day

Prime Minister Tammam Salam issued on Tuesday a memorandum stating that all the public institutions will be closed on 23/11/2015 on the occasion of the Independence Day.

Lebanon’s Independence Day is a national holiday celebrated on November 22 in remembrance of the ending of the French mandate over Lebanon in 1943, after 23 years of colonial rule.
