Future bloc held Tuesday its weekly meeting under the chairmanship of MP Fouad Siniora, with talks featuring high on the situation in Lebanon and the region.
The bloc observed a minute of silence at the beginning of the meeting over the Bourj al-Barajneh explosions' victims.
This as it called for the swift election of a new president, considering it as the only way to resolve Lebanon’s outstanding issues.
The bloc also reiterated the need to hold an extraordinary cabinet session in a bid to discuss the security developments and find solutions to the pressing waste crisis.
On another note, the bloc hailed the efforts deployed by the Internal Security Forces’ Information Division in terms of discovering the criminal and terrorist cells.
