Judge Sawan issues three indictments in terrorism cases

Military Investigative Judge Fadi Sawan issued Thursday three indictments related to terrorism crimes.

The first indictment accused twelve individuals, including 11 Lebanese citizens and one Syrian national who were detained, of carrying out terrorist acts and fighting in Tripoli during the clashes between Bab al-Tebbaneh and Jabal Mohsen.

In the second indictment, the judge accused detained Palestinian national identified as Ousama Hourani of carrying out terrorist acts in Ain al-Helweh refugee camp.

The third indictment accused the Syrian national Ahmad Akef al-Sayer of belonging to al-Nusra Front and carrying out terrorist acts in the northeastern town of Arsal.

Judge Sawan issued arrest warrants against the accused individuals and referred them to the permanent military court for trials.
