General Security arrests Lebanese national for belonging to extremist organization
The General Security apprehended a Lebanese national for belonging to an extremist organization, a statement issued by the directorate said on Tuesday.
 
The suspect was identified by his initials: H.S.
 
According to the statement, the arrestee confessed to belonging to ISIS and having links to three of its leaders, including Lebanese nationals identified by their initials as: Aa.S. J.Gh. and B.Gh.
 
The suspect also confessed to having contacts with Abou Al-Daraa Al-Shami, an ISIS member who is currently in Syria, with the aim of heading Syri’a Raqqa to join the group’s ranks.
