Sexual exploitation of minors in Lebanon on the rise

16% of Lebanese minors are subject to sexual violence. This number covers a reality that seems to be harsher and in dire need of awareness and immediate intervention.

Sexual abuses at home and at school can also be added to this number.

Experts say that educating children on the dangers of sexual abuses must be accompanied by strict rules and regulations to punish the perpetrators.
