EU to discuss ways to keep Strait of Hormuz open, Kallas says

In Brussels, Kaja Kallas, the European Union’s foreign policy chief, said Monday that member states will discuss measures the bloc could take to help keep the Strait of Hormuz open.

Speaking to reporters ahead of a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels, she said, “It is in our interest to keep the Strait of Hormuz open, and therefore we are also discussing what we can do from the European side in this regard.”
