Sources told LBCI that Ahamd Khaled al-Diab, who was arrested two days ago, has confessed to being the one who opened fire at Lebanese Armed Forces Colonel Noureddine al-Jamal.
The colonel was killed during the clashes that erupted in the northeastern border town of Arsal in 2014, between gunmen and the Lebanese army.
