Clinton calls Mikati, praises Lebanese cabinet’s measures

Lebanese PM Najib Mikati discussed with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton the general situation in Lebanon and the region during a phone conversation on Thursday.

Clinton voiced support of measures taken by the Lebanese government and praised the role of the LAF.
The U.S. official also commended the cooperation established between the Lebanese Central Bank and the U.S. Treasury.

In turn, Mikati thanked Clinton for her call, confirming the importance of mutual cooperation and the continuation of logistic support of the LAF.
