Bkaatouta – Kesserwan appoints Municipal Council

The Ministry of Interior and Municipalities announced on Friday, the victory of the members of the municipal council in Bkaatouta - Kesserwan district by acclamation after several members withdrew their candidacy.

Their names are as follows: Raymond Hajj, who will be elected as president of the municipal council. Tohme Hajj, Hani Akiki, JeanAkiki, Naim Al-Hajj, Nisreen Khalil, Tony George Kamid, Tony Farid Kamid, and Tony Tannouri.

Communications were conducted on more than one level between the families of Bkaatouta, securing the victory of the new municipal council by acclamation after the withdrawal of Walid Akiki, Tony Joseph Tannouri, Shahid and Wafik Kamid within the legal deadline.
