Abdel Karim: We expect Lebanon to have Syria’s best interest at heart

Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdel Karim said on Saturday that Syria clearly opposes any foreign interference, adding that the domestic Syrian crisis will be only settled through an open and honest diagnosis and appropriate reforms.

Following his meeting with Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour, Abdel Karim said that he expects Lebanon to have Syria’s best interests at heart.

“The end of the Syrian crisis is on the horizon and I think that the international community is fully aware that Syria is settling its domestic crisis with wisdom and determination”, Abdel Karim added.
