Security plan yields results, some road blocks

Internal Security Forces across Lebanon continue on with the heightened security measures proposed by the Ministry of Interior and which came into effect on the 27th of June, 2012.

The results so far are as follows, 74 wanted persons have been arrested, 135 vehicles, 83 trucks, and 81 bikes seized, 4 violations for tinted car windows have also been marked among other violations.

Meanwhile, Palestinian refugees from the Jal al-Bahr refugee camp cut off the main road at the northern entrance of the city of Tyre with burning tires to protest the removal by an ISF patrol of an illegal construction in the above-mentioned camp. The ISF and LAF rushed to the scene and reopened the road.
