Closed meeting between Sleiman and Rai in Diman

Lebanese President Michel Sleiman arrived to the Diman to meet with Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai, as part of an annual traditional visit.

Sleiman and Rai are set to hold a closed meeting, during which the patriarch will provide the president with all the details pertaining to his visit to France.

The talks will be followed by prayers at Diman’s church and a lunch banquet in Sleiman’s honor. In the afternoon, Rai will lead a ceremonial mass in the garden of patriarchs in the presence of Sleiman.
