Future bloc highlights ongoing contact with Sleiman over dialogue

The Future bloc announced on Tuesday that the current security situation requires the resignation of the government and the formation of a “cabinet that has [the necessary] vision, determination and will, to operate away from political spite”.

In a statement read by MP Ammar Houri , the bloc highlighted ongoing contact with President Michel Sleiman in order to decide whether to take part in the dialogue or not.

The bloc refused that the LAF and security forces be “dragged into political polarizations or come under media attack”, adding that the self-distancing policy should not be selective.

In its concluding statements, the bloc reiterated its rejection to the overall cutting of roads.
