Abadi: the will of the people cannot be broken

Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Rokon Abadi said on Thursday that the Syrian people are "after reforms and change under the rule of President Bachar Assad", adding that the contrary cannot be forcefully applied.

The Iranian official, and after meeting with MP Sleiman Franjieh, said that “foreign intervention will not yield results nor will break the will of the Syrian people”.
