Fatfat to LBCI: March 14’s memo related to Syrian border violations

Lebanon First Bloc MP Ahmad Fatfat confirmed on Sunday that there is no link between the memo circulated to March 14 members and the issue of national dialogue.

Fatfat told Nharkom Said TV show that the memo is related to Syrian violations of the Lebanese sovereign territory and the cabinet’s inaction in this regard, stressing that the memo will be submitted to the president as first step.

Fatfat highlighted ongoing contacts between all March 14 members to decide on their participation in the next dialogue session.

“There is a consensus that President Michel Sleiman has exerted significant efforts”, he stressed, adding, however, “no positive signs have yet emerged”.
