Thieves pull the wool over store owners eyes during power outage

Only two days after a robbery took place in Al Sanawbar Center in Mazraat Yachouh, Mount-Lebanon, the store owners were caught off-guard when they woke up in the morning to find that the three stories forming Gallery Center, also in Mazraat Yashouh, were robbed early Monday morning.

The robbers took their time breaking and entering into 7 offices, damaging surveillance cameras and alarm sirens. They stole safes as well as all the computers and electronics they could lay their hands on.

The trade center is located on Bikfaya highway and according to specialists the robbery may have taken place at 12 a.m. in concert with the power outage and ended at 5 a.m. when power was resumed.
