Kassar to LBCI: Lebanese banking sector “sound”

Head of the Economic Bodies, former Minister Adnan Kassar, explained on Saturday that the recent incidents that swept the region along with the entailing changes have affected the economy of many regional countries, including Lebanon.

In a statement to Nharkom said TV show, Kassar said that the security situation in Lebanon is “not so bad”, stressing the importance of stability which is “key to any economic activity”.

In his concluding remarks, Kassar reassured that Lebanon’s banking sector is “sound”, confirming that Lebanese banks still enjoy credibility.
