New misery for the Lebanese farmers

Lately, information has been circulating about a disease affecting the prickly pear, making its exportation impossible.

In this context, a farmer from the town of Halta in Nabatiyeh, Issam Chibli stressed that the cause of the disease is an insect affecting the tree, not the fruit.

Chibli added that this disease is not dangerous and has a cure.
