MP Kanaan: Budget deficit reduced to 6.59%

MP Ibrahim Kanaan said on Thursday that the Parliament’s Finance and Budget Committee reduced the budget’s deficit from 7.59% to 6.59%.

Kanaan’s comments were made during a press conference from the Parliament whereby he called for starting discussion over the state’s budget 2020.

He also asserted that the spending was reduced by over 550 billion LBP, adding that all canceled revenues were replaced by others.
