How did Syria’s children spend Eid al-Fitr away from their homeland?
On the first day of Eid al-Fitr, the poor Syrian children in North Lebanon wore their new clothes and went out to play on their swings to celebrate the Eid.    

Meanwhile, Feryal and thousands of children who fled from Syria settled with observing other children celebrate. They have no new clothes to wear and no money to celebrate; their only consolation is that they are sleeping in peace, away from the deadly shells destroying their homeland.    

Some parents did not even wake their children up to spare them the pain of watching other children celebrate while all they have are the remaining canned food donations.
