Lebanese students in Syria question their fate in light of Syrian crisis
Lebanese students currently attaining their studies in Syria staged a protest on Friday outside the Education Ministry’s building.

Ali Faqih, one of the students, explained that they [students] have put forth several solutions to their problem, including asking the Syrian state on the possibility of presenting their complimentary session’s exams through the Syrian embassy in Lebanon.

Faqih explained that since exams will kick off August 25 in Damascus’ University, the students have visited the Syrian consul in Lebanon, hoping that their demands will be met.

In turn, the consul highlighted the importance of submitting a ministerial letter in this regard, confirming a lack of coordination with the ministry of education.
